VICES & VIRTUES:
Pride: Isagi doesn’t start out very prideful but over the course the series as he’s been able to evolve himself he’s become extremely proud. A lot of this is due to how the way egoism is pushed by the runner of the Blue Lock program. He pushes every player to find their egoist inside. Isagi’s pride presents itself most in the way he is confident that he will be the best and not even the best young players from around the world could beat him in the end.
Lust: Perhaps a bit of an alternate view of lust but Isagi is obsessed with getting goals. He’s focused on evolving himself because it’s never enough. After a goal all he wants is another goal. The desire and lust he has for soccer supersedes anything else in his life or personality.
Charity: In spite of the above, Isagi isn’t selfish. He’s always more than willing to assist teammates and friends. He enjoys helping his friends find their own ego and evolve as players. He’s kind and always open to sharing what he has with his friends.
Patience: this is also a trait that Isagi values and has in spades. On more than one occasion his ability to exercise patience is what allows him to gain advantages. He will bypass certain opportunities to wait for the opportune positioning, pass and so forth in a game. Outside of the game he’s also incredibly patient with teammates whether they’re friends or not. He extends a lot of grace and patience to people who are standoffish or unfriendly. He doesn’t give up on them and looks for ways to get closer to them and help them.
SUITABILITY: I believe that Isagi is suitable because he’s shown to be very adaptable and independent while maintaining the ability to foster positive relationships in a cutthroat environment as well as being able to bring people together. A lot of the conflict of his character is dealing with his own morality and how far he can be pushed past society’s norms to become the best at what he does. He was without anyone he knew at first in Blue Lock and created a support structure for himself and he’s quick to pick up on the rules around him even when they vastly contradict the norm of the Japanese society he grew up in.
POWERS:
His powers aren’t supernatural/superhuman but he does have far above average abilities/skills.
Spatial Awareness: He’s able to analyze his surroundings and formulate extremely accurate visions of what will happen under different circumstances.
Adaptability: Isagi is undeniably a genius in adaptability. In the field he’s able to understand both his and his opponents movements on and off the ball. He’s able to adapt his play to either counter or devour his opponents style. His adaptability does extend off the pitch in his ability to adapt to other people’s needs and personalities.
Metavision: he can basically view the field from above seeing everything all at once.
